We were on the road by 9 yesterday morning, and it took what seemed like forever to get there... but after 2 and a half hours of driving we make it to Nashville... But we take a wrong turn, and just so happen to go past the university where Hanson is holding this years walk.. (Yay me right?) Well as it turns out my aunt said that once we found the Wild Horse, that I might not be able to go on the walk, 'cause she might not be able to find the university again..(not cool) So I'm like okay, that's cool, as long as I find a way to give them the gifts I brought them..(Note:I made portraits, and bought bracelets that represent world peace for them.) So As soon as we get to the Wild Horse Saloon, Mom, my aunt, and her friend go in to have lunch, not being hungry as of yet, I decide to stand out side and talk to what few fans are there... While I was talking to a girl named Monica, 2 other girls came up and asked if we were going to the walk, or did we need a ride... so I asked one of them, you know if my mom says it's okay are you sure you don't mind me riding with you guys, and they said no not at all.. so I asked mom if I could go with them, and she didn't have a problem with it so I got to go to the university for the walk after all.. After we found a parking place we walked to the university, and asked one of the students which way to the bell tower? and she told us where to go.. So we went in to register for the walk...
Once Registered we stood around with other students, and fans, to patiently wait... When one o'clock came around They finally came out.. (Yay!) I took what few pics I could.. (there were so many people it was impossible) Taylor, and Isaac made their speeches, and the walk began shortly after.. As the walk started I could see Zac, and that he wasn't very far away from me, so I ran to try my best to catch up, to give him his bracelet.. and I think it worried him a little bit, cause I walked up to him, and went "Hey Zac!" then he replied with "What" and I'm like "I have something for ya" and he's like "uh oh, Should I be worried?" and so he turns around and I give him his bracelet. He looks a bit confused, and says Thank You...
Next I had to try to catch Isaac... I didn't have any luck... so I just fell back with the crowd... and as the walk went on, Isaac eventually fell back to try to encourage us to catch up with everyone else.. and wouldn't you know it I was coming right up on him, so I slowed down and waited for him to catch up to me, and I looked over, and said "Hi Isaac" he looked at me and said "hi, how are you?" and i was like, "I'm good, how about you?" and then he was like "good, and how are you enjoying the walk so far?" and I'm like "Oh, I love it! I like to walk barefoot?" He looked shocked at my statement, and said "Really?" and I was like "Yeah" and he was like "So this doesn't phase you then?" and I'm like "Nope" He smiled then walked ahead a little a talked some more on his mega phone...
So finally we make it to the halfway point, where Taylor makes his speech... Then we proceed to go to the book store, where Hanson played Great Divide, the Steel Train played, Followed by Sherwood.. Once the song playing was over the book, and CD signing began... I waited 20 minutes to get up to them just to get told by a security guard that I had to either have a book or their new CD in order to get an autograph... so I had to get out of line, go buy another copy of their cd, and get back in line...
Once I finally got up to them, I went to Zac first, and I said "I'm sorry if I scared you earlier." and he looked at me funny... Then he thought about it and it's like it just hit him what I was talking about...lol so he said "Oh, No You didn't scare me, don't worry about it.." and smiled at me as I walked on down the line.. Next was Ike, He signed my CD cover, and said "It's Nice to meet you" and he just smiled... Then there was Taylor... he signed my CD and said "Hey Thanks For coming to the walk" and that's when I stuck my hand out and said "hey i'm Songbird" He laughed a little and said "Hey Songbird, It's nice to meet you.." and then I went to find my ride and we went back to the venue...
